Director
Kendra Lubalin has been working as a Jewish Educator for the last 18 years. This is her fourth year as the Director of Bay Area Midrasha. Prior to this position she ran the Hebrew High School at Congregation Kol Shofar in Marin. In addition to being an educator, she is the mom of two young children.
Tenth Grade Rabbinic Faculty
Rabbi Mark Bloom joined Temple Beth Abraham of Oakland, California in July 2001.
Rabbi Andrew Straus of Temple Sinai received his Rabbinic Ordination from Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Rabbi Jacqueline Mates-Muchin of Temple Sinai is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara with ordination from Hebrew Union College, New York.

Eighth Grade
Sacha J. Kopin has been working in the Midrasha system, both as a teacher and a director, for 20 years. The tastiest thing she does is work with her husband, who owns Fa-La-La, a falafel restaurant.
Marshall Sachs, a graduate of U.C. Berkeley, is the youth director at Temple Sinai. This is his 4th year on the Midrasha staff.
Jennifer Levine is in her second year teaching at Oakland Midrasha. She also teaches at Temple Sinai and is the mother of two.
Suzie Rose is returning to Oakland Midrasha this year, after several years away.
Ninth Grade
Erica Fink is starting her first year at Oakland Midrasha. She also teaches at Congregation Beth El and at Midrasha in Berkeley.
Eyal Mazor is in his second year teaching at Oakland Midrasha. He also teaches at Temple Sinai.
